Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated in May 2026.

Messy Healing aims to make this website (messyhealing.co.uk) and its services as accessible, inclusive, and welcoming as possible.

Accessibility, Inclusion & Safer Spaces

The website is built using the Wix platform, which provides accessibility tools and features designed to support WCAG accessibility guidelines.

We want people to be able to access information, book services, and engage with content in a way that feels supportive and manageable for them. Accessibility and inclusion are ongoing processes, and it is recognised that there is always more to learn and improve.

This website has been designed with accessibility in mind where reasonably possible, including:
• Clear page structures and headings
• Readable fonts, sizing, and spacing
• Alt text added to images where appropriate
• Colour contrast considerations
• Mobile-friendly design
• Reduced use of flashing or rapidly moving content
• Compatibility with keyboard navigation and screen readers where supported by the platform
• Simple and clear language where possible

Some areas of the website or linked services may rely on third-party platforms such as Calendly, Google Forms, payment providers, embedded media, or social media platforms. While efforts are made to choose accessible tools where possible, Messy Healing cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party content or services outside of direct control.

Where sessions, workshops, or events take place in person, accessibility may vary depending on the venue being used.

Clients are encouraged to get in touch via email before booking if they have:
• Access requirements
• Mobility needs
• Sensory considerations
• Communication preferences
• Neurodivergent support needs
• Questions about venues or participation

Reasonable adjustments will always be taken seriously and considered wherever possible.

Messy Healing is committed to creating respectful, supportive, and inclusive spaces for people of different identities, backgrounds, bodies, cultures, beliefs, experiences, and ways of being.

This includes an ongoing commitment to accessibility, cultural competence, reducing unnecessary power dynamics through authenticity and collaboration, and offering sliding scale payment options where possible in order to improve accessibility and inclusion.

Discrimination, harassment, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated within sessions, workshops, groups, events, or community spaces.
